Bulkhead??

Hi
I have a 2007 c4 coupe/van 3Dr.
Between the front and back there is a half bulkhead. I am looking to install some sort of mesh or wire to go all the way to the roof of the van.
I am sometimes carrying tools for work and just fearful of being in a crash. A flying toolbag would hurt ha.
Has anyone perhaps taken one from a Berlingo or partner and modified it to fit?

Head unit

Hi there,

I am a new Citroen Grand C4 Picasso 2014 Exclusive+ owner and was just wanting a bit of info if possible.

I have seen videos of people playing video on the 12" screen and was wondering if my car is compatible to do this? I am not sure my head unit is up to date to use MirrorScreen, is this something that I can have via a software/firmware update?

You help would be most appreciated.

Braking Issue

Hi Guys, just looking for someone with technical knowledge of the C4 braking system. I can't find anything within the forums relating to anything like this.

I'm having an intermittent issue where I can apply the brake, I get contact and brake fine, however, there are times where I can apply the brake and get nothing, pedal hits the floor and I've nothing, yet I can release the pedal and brake again and it works fine.

I've had new pads and discs all round, I've had a new master cylinder and I've just had a new calliper on the drivers front (snapped nipped and retapping didn't work) all of which haven't fixed the intermittent issue. There are no warning messages or error codes either so I'm at a loss as to what it could be?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Any way to check AdBlue?

I've just bought a C4P and been reading the forums about what to expect etc.
I've only just read up about the AdBlue stuff that gets topped up when a warning light comes on.
(mine is a 2014 1.6 C4P automatic)

Is there any way to check how much is in mine? or how long before the warning light may come on?
Like a hidden menu setting, such as the cheatcode menu (holding radio button for 5 seconds)


Are there any other things I should expect would need doing in addition to standard MOT and Services? I usually use independent garages, not dealers.

LIght in left hand side of boot C4GP 2012 VTR+

I have just bought a C4GP and found that the light on left hand side of boot wasn't working. On removing fitting found that there is no wire/cable attached. How can I remove the trim to locate the cable? it must have come detached!

I need to change the battery on my 07 plate 1.6hdi gp I've searched the internet and have found conflicting information. Basically I've found that two sizes are advertised a 96 and 27. Does anyone know which size I need?

Diesel Particle Filter - additive cleaner?

I'm new to these fairly modern diesel cars with particle filters.
I know you have to occasionally driver at least 20 minutes at over 50mph for the filter to burn off the soot and clean itself.

Has anyone used, or can recommend a fuel additive particle cleaner such as;
Wynns Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner 325 ml.

I just wondered if it's worth adding one of these to my fuel tank, as we normally drive short journeys - so it could be an issue with needing specific journeys to clean it.

C4 Picasso/Grand Picasso - what bulbs?

It would be a really good idea to have a sticky thread about what bulbs the C4 B78 takes and where.


(I'm new to the C4P and have just started upgrading all my bulbs to better quality ones)

So far I've done the footwell bulbs, rear number plate bulbs and headlight main beams.
I'm not sure what all the bulbs are. Various bulb website use your registration number to 'guess' the bulbs, but I get different results from different sites.


So far I've found;
- headlight main beam - H7
- headlight full beam -H7
- front Fog Light - H11
- footwell - 501
- rear number plate - 501


Add to the list as you see fit.

Adjusting the maximum height of tailgate C4GP 2014

Its such a pain but yesterday my garage door swiped off the chevrons and Citroen logo on the tailgate when it was fully extended inside my garage. I thought I'd open the garage door to let in more light as I was working inside the rear of the car.

Is it possible to limit the extended height of the tailgate on this car so it doesn't happen again?

It has a manual operation rather than motorised open/closing.

Sometimes the clutch pedal does not return fully

My Grand Picasso sounds fine, has been recently serviced and a warranty repair done to replace a broken alternator belt.. however before these until present occasionally the clutch pedal once depressed comes about 3/4 of the way up and then stops - I can pull it up with my foot and there is no problem changing gears etc or abnormal mechanical sounds.

Does anyone else have this issue? is it symptomatic of something significant?, is there anything I could do to resolve it myself e.g. lube an exposed pedal pivot joint.

There was one time I was inspecting the pedal movement with my hand and noticed dust fall away from the area as if dirt / stone had obstructed it and was crumbling away.

2015 C4P 2.0 150 Exclusive+ recalls?

Picked up my 2015 C4P in March and went into local dealer today to book in for some minor work and they called me an hour later to say there are 3 calls outstanding:

1) wiring harness on AdBlu system
2) new pin in fuel something or other
3) timing belt flywheel

Anyone aware of these? I checked the Government site for recalls and didn't see any of these listed.

C4GP Exclusive - Front seat disassembly

Hi,

Is there a guide on here to how to take apart a front seat for a 2007 C4GP Exclusive please? My 15 year old has pulled the elastic on the magazine holder bit whilst bored on the motorway, when his chage on his tablet and 3DS had run out and and it now needs replacing. I have seen them on eBay for £30-40 and want to fit it myself. The only other issue is that I have DVD players fitted and this will make it a little more tricky, I feel.

HID kit for C4 Picasso

Has anyone fitted a HID kit to their C4P or Grand?

The headlights are reflectors so would need H7R bulbs instead of standard H7 so they don't glare other road users.

I've noticed the headlights have a small bulb shield which covers the end of the bulb.

Has anyone fitted a HID kit and it fit alright, or were the bulbs too long to fit, needing the smaller H7R-C bulbs?

Hi all,

This is my 1st post in many years having coming back to a C4 2016 1.6.

I know the issues with the old engines and how they can eat up turbos with incorrect servicing. I am trying to find out if this new engine has had any redesigns around the turbo / oil delivery system.

Or is it just the same engine but with lower CO2 enhancements?

Referring to my 'signature' -
Compared to my current TomTom device, the inbuilt system on my 2/15 build C4P, is pretty much useless.
Constant misdirection and hopelessly inaccurate ETA also (eg 22km to go requiring ~50 mins) means I have to resort to my old TomTom for there to be any confidence in the outcome.
I'd be happy to continue using the TomTom, but where to put it other than sticking to the windscreen.....has anyone else felt similarly and/or got any advice?.

I updated my 2015 C4P exclusive+ SatNav maps in March this year when I took ownership. How can I tell when a new update is available from MyCitroen? Is there any way to tell the version on the website and match it to what's in the car without downloading/USB/Install etc?

The article is about 'undertaking'. This would be fine if the video had been made in the UK, but it appears to have been made in America, where, not only is overtaking on the inside the normal practice, but the overtaking car moves to the left in a mirror image of normal practice here. However it is an example of very poor driving!

auto dip lights

Hi all, new here and new to owning a c4p.
I have the exclusive+ e-hdi on 63 plate, in the setting menu the is a box for auto lights dip which is ticked but when on main beam it doesn't say auto by the main beam indicator.
If that function is not available on my car why would there be an option for in the menu?
