EGR CLEANER
Hello, wondering if anyone can help, I've bought some EGR CLEANER and with the fiddly way my Citroen c4gp is set up where do I spray the product? I've also noticed the back pipe is very loose so I'm gonna have to wrap some tape round the pipe to force it back in tight. Hope someone can help

Headlights
Just picked up a c4 picasso exec+ for the new family car, really impressed by the amount of kit, active cruise is really impressive. So I was surprised to find regular headlight bulbs rather than xenon. Just changed them to some whiter Phillips bulbs, well played Citroen, none of the usual battling to change the bulbs, easy access all done in 2 minutes!

EGR CLEANER
Hello, can someone point me in the right direction to where the air intake manifold is on 2008 C4 GP 1.6 diesel.
Usually you spray the product into the air intake pipe but this is pointless with your car, just want to know where the intake manifold is because I'm going to spray into where the sensor sits if this is understandable..

Hello, 2008 C4 gp.
Quick question and hope someone actually responds to this, will getting the EGR blacked off and remapped affect the DPF?

Top dash panel
Hi all,
My daughter has a C4 Grand and the top of the dash on both sides are lifting off. It's about 18" square.
How could I fix this? What sort of glue should I use? Has anyone had this problem before.
Thanks.

Anti pollution system faulty message. Engine cuts out.
Hi.
I'm new here so hello. I have a problem with my Grand Picasso 1.6 2009. The anti pollution message has popped up a few times along with handbrake is faulty. As the handbrake was working i just thought it was nothing to worry about. Today i set off with the wife and kids to go camping in the Yorkshire Dales. About 25 miles into the journey the anti pollution message flashed up again. 5 minutes later the car juddered and cut out at 50mph. The car started first time. Decided to carry on but the same happened 10 minutes later. As the kids were in the car i decided to go home and take the car into my local garage. The car made it home without cutting out again. Garage put it through the computer which brought up 2 codes. Cant remember the numbers but they were to do with the fuel system. The guy at the garage said he would change the fuel filter first. That has been done but they couldnt prime the diesel. Think that means there is air in the fuel system. He said they would look at it again on monday. So no car and no camping for us. Sorry for the long post but has anyone had a similar experience or can anyone offer any advice on repair. Many thanks. Nick

lost keys,
ok, guys, here we go, I have 2 2005 c4. no 1 is 1.6 auto and no 2 is 1.4 manual, both petrol.
I bought the auto for father in-law, but after a few knocks and bangs he's given it back, nothing too serious but now it needs front lights 2 wings and bumper. unfortunately, the key for this car has been lost.
so I bought no 2 which has all the body bits I need and the key, I've swapped the Key, the fuse box under the bonnet and the ECU next to it ( by the battery) and the fuse box under/behind the glovebox.
now all the ignition come on but the car won't crank and it says there's a fault with anti theft,,, is there something I'm missing, both cars were running fine before hand, any ideas lads.
THANKS IN ADVANCE
Can you post this in what you think is the correct place to get best response please , thanks again

Rear Fog Light wiring
Hi,
Replacing a damaged after market trailer bypass relay in our 2007 C4 GP. The fog light pin hasn't been wired in so wanted to rectify it at the same time but...
Not sure which wire to take the feed from. Have identified the cluster of wires behind the rear left panel that runs through the grommet in the floor and powers the fogs. Found a couple of wiring diagrams online but none of the colours match those in the car. Lots of pink and green wires.
Is it a case of unplugging the connector and checking which one is carrying voltage with the lights on?
Thanks

Factory rear DVD setup
I've checked the forum but can't find a definite answer. I've found a C4GP in the scrap yard with the factory DVD setup. If I get all the bits does it simply plug in or are the looms missing? I've got the HI-FI pack in mine if that helps? Thanks.

Connect Nav - a voyage of discovery
Signed up for this when I purchased my new car in March, largely because it was free for 3 years.
Problem 1. Only have a PAYG phone on a lite tariff. Solution - 500MBpm data pack for £5pm, more than enough for my needs.
Problem 2. MyCitroen app recorded start and finish addresses for a while and since the middle of July has stopped doing so. The start/finish points are correct on the map but no addresses are given. Looking at other PSA forums this appears to be an issue with the app, so hopefully will be fixed at the next update.
Problem 3. Lack of documentation on the various symbols etc displayed by the traffic system. Solution - Download manual for a similar stand alone satnav from Tomtom.
Problem 4. No firmware or map updates available through MyCitroen, although logging on to the French version shows that there are updates ready to download. Solution - Citroen advise that the French versions should not be downloaded, and that the updates will be available on the UK MyCitroen site 'soon'. Or I could get my dealer to do it.
Overall I am happy with the system, but it does seem that it has been implemented without any proper support. Credit is due to my salesman who set up my Connect Nav without a hitch the first time he attempted one. Others have not been so lucky, although it shouldn't be a matter of luck in the first place.

What is this part?
Does anyone know what this part is? I found a couple under the seats of my C4GP and have also found a few in the scrappers under the rear seats too.

Bargain or not?
Whilst shopping for a C1 for my wife, there it was. An unregistered unused Puretech 130 Feel, resplendent in lazuli blue plus keyless entry, driver assist and parking assist packs saying 'buy me'. And petrol too, as rare as hens teeth unless I ordered a new one. After some research and because of the £4K+ discount, I bought it in March and am delighted with the car so far.
I now know the reason for the discount having discovered ORGA codes. The build date is actually July 2016 and I think the car must have been surplus to the original raft of facelift C4's that were pushed out to the press and to dealers as demonstrators. A number of ex demonstation cars of similar spec have appeared on the used market, but none locally.
I have no idea where the car had been in the intervening period, but there is certainly no evidence of use or deterioration and I went over it with a fine toothcomb.
Am I concerned that my 'new' car was 9 months old? Not really.

Windscreen washers
Problem - even using the full range of adjustment, water just sprays onto the wipers and it takes litres of water to clean the screen properly.
Solution - unclip the washer jets from their housing and relocate only at the front of the housing (nearest the windscreen). This raises the angle of the jets so that water is sprayed onto the screen not the wipers. Despite this 'interference fit' the jets have remained in place.

Extended warranty question
Hi all
I have a 64 plate C4 Picasso Exclusive+ which is out of warranty next month and plan to take out an extended warranty. What are peoples thoughts on the best one to go for, would you stick with Citroen or go for a 3rd party one? Also with extended warranties generally if you make a claim one year will it affect your renewal premium the following year in the same way making a claim on car insurance does?
Thanks
