"Hill Start" time limit increase?
Hello
I would like to ask if the 2 secs time limit of the hill start function can be increased? e.g. 10-20-30 seconds?
I have another cars and they don't have hill start but they have "Auto Hold" feature... everytime the break is pressed, this "Auto hold" will kick in and after releasing the break, the car would not move until acceleration (gas) is pressed. It is like automatic break will be applied every time the break is pressed. very handy feature as you can stop the car by pressing the break (at traffic light/hill) and then let go the break, the car won't move/roll back.
So if we can increase the time limit of the hill start, this will be a handy feature. I understand it will only work when the ECO system is disabled because hill start is controlled by ABS sensor and it only works when the engine is running.
But anyways, any chance/modification to increase the 2 secs limit of "Hill Start" feature?

Wiper hitting A pillar
The driver's side windscreen wiper is hitting the top of the A pillar.
The dealership tried to 'fix' this but it now hits the passenger wiper at the bottom of the down stroke as well.
Is this a known issue?

C4 Picasso 1.6HDi Turbocharger Type
Hello
Can I tell which type of Turbocharger type I have installed on my 2007 C4P 1.6HDi engine - - WasteGate or VNT(variable Vane) from the VIN VF7UD 9HZ H45075845
Also I have a leaking injector could some one recommend a removal tool - not to expensive please, I've trolled the net initially for ( as I call it ) a jiggling tool that is one that fits over the Injector like a Long socket which you are then able to jiggle it radially after copious amounts of release oil to break the grunged-up injector shaft and maybe just able to leaver up the injector - suggestion please...joe

C4 drink holder

I have an 2006 C4. Is there any smart solutions for a cup/bottle/drink holder for the C4 beside the one beetween the seats? I have tried a few "aftermarket" drink holders for the door and vent. But it doesnt work.

Sudden DAB loss
My 2014 1.6 VTR+ since I bought it in Feb last year has had good reception on DAB until about 10 days ago, clear audio with occasional drop outs due to high building proximity but quickly reacquired the signal.
Now I only get a weak signal warning on all stations.
First thought was the local transmitters but both are showing as no faults
secondly, try a re scan but still no DAB
checked the aerial condition, in perfect condition
I considered the change in season but this wasn't a problem last spring.
so what now?
Has or is anyone else experiencing the same?
I'm wondering if this is going to be a dealer diagnostic visit

New (2nd hand GP) creaking sound.
Hello all, been lurking here for the past few weeks and finally purchased a used 2016 GP exclusive from a Citroen dealer. I like the car, a much better drive than my old model GP but it seems to be clattering from underneath, most noticeable at slow speeds. I removed the rear wheels, hoping it was a stone stuck in the brake cover but no difference. Sounds almost like a loose heat shield but they seem OK. Leaving me to think it may be the rear axle. What kind of sound does a faulty axle make ? Cheers !

Cargo Net for C4GP Mk2 Recommendations
Until recently I had a 61 plate C4GP Exclusive and it came with a cargo net that could stretch from the floor to the ceiling behind the middle row seats. It was great with the family and I went camping. We would fill the boot to the roof.
My newer 67 plate, flair, didn't come with any such thing.![]()
Can anyone recommend an alternative, otherwise I'll have to make a wooden frame to do the job instead or work out a way to fit the 61 plate cargo net to the 67 plate car.

ESP/ASR system fault: Have the vehicle repaired | OBD2 error code: P0268

I am getting the "ESP/ASR system fault: Have the vehicle repaired" message (pls see link above) on my dashboard and when checked with OBD2, it comes up as "P0268" error code.
The car is in limp mode and not picking up any speed. If I try to drive it in auto gear, it stays in 1st gear and doesn't go over 10-12 mph. On the manual, it doesn't go over 25-30 mph.
Can someone shed some more light on this?

Programming total close to work with the key in the lock
Hello I have just upgraded from my old piccaso to a C4 1.6e-HDi Airdream 98g DPF ss 110 EURO5 Diesel CRD VTR+ EGS auto (what a gob full)
Anyway I am in the process of fitting my Clifford security to it and have got everything working, Deadlocking mirror fold and remote start. But the total close of the windows only operates with the OEM fob. Does anyone know if its possible to add the feature to the door lock operation via Lexia software as this would mean it can be controlled by the Clifford, to vent open if it gets to hot close again if to cold or rain or someone gets to close to it.

Rear Number plate Lights
Hi, Just given the car a wash and noticed that one of the rear number plate lights, by the Rear tailgate release is missing its clear plastic cover/lens.

New Free ConnectNav App for Windows 10, 8 & 7
MyConnectedCar
I have written new "alpha build" (aka prototype) application for Windows 10, 8 & 7 that reads MyCitroen app files and displays all the data. It's available for download here :

In the MyCitroen app, click on the head and shoulders icon in the top right, click "settings", then "driving data" and finally "Export". Either save the file or email it to yourself. You need to load this file into the MyConnectedCar app.
Unzip the file you downloaded, MyConnectedCar.zip, and save the files somewhere on your computer. Double click on MyConnectedCar.exe and click on the "Import" button on the top left on the window and load the file that you exported from the MyCitroen app (it will end in .myc). If everything loads OK, you should see a dropdown box appear with a list of VINs in it. Select the VIN that corresponds to your car. You will then get an overview list of all your trips. Double click on a row to display all the data for that trip. The overview list has column titles, click on various titles to sort the columns alphabetically or numerically.
(1) I am NOT a professional software engineer. I am a teacher and will not make any monetary profit from this app. This app has been written as a demo for my students. If anyone finds it handy, then great!
(2) This app is a first draft, alpha build which means it is the very first version of this program. Yes, there could be bugs!
(3) Why doesn't the app do x, y, and z? The current version only displays the data provided by the car. Yes there is lots more this app could do. Give me a chance, and I might add x, y, and z.
(4) Do you have a user manual for this app? Yes, you're reading it.![]()
(5) Why isn't a desktop icon for the app created? Why isn't there an install program for this app? This is a free, brand new app - I might get down to creating a proper install package for it one day when I get the time.

Rt3 head unit problems
Hi everyone, 2007 grand picasso exclusive. Over the past few months the head unit goes off, screen goes blank and orange light comes on above the SOS button and then seems to reboot and it's ok, the satnav seems to lose its signal and shows me driving in a field, only way to cure this was to stop and restart the car. Now the orange light came on last week and the screen just says Citroen, Speedo has gone to default kph, parking sensors front and back don't work and the radio doesn't work. Have tried the reboot of disconnecting battery while standing on my head but no joy, tried the dark button, orange light goes off and tries to reboot but nothing, still black screen with Citroen on it, found a place in Spain who say they can repair my head unit but is there no one in the UK who can sort it? My head unit is an rt3 and I have bought a second hand one from eBay which is an rt3ev, when plugged in it asks "insert upgrade cd" and there is 2.13 on the bottom left of the screen, is this something that a Citroen dealer can sort of will the rt3ev not be comparable? The breakers I bought the radio from said they would refund me if it didn't work so I don't really want to try having it really coded if I have to send it back because it doesn't work in my car, so where do I go with this? Also my head unit has the jukebox and not a multiplayer cd changer. I have read most of the other threads but don't seem to be able to find any answers, anyone's help would be very much appreciated

Rear light issue
Hi I've lost power to the passenger side rear light both indicator and stop and tail and the manual isn't very helpful on where the fuse might be there are lots to choose from and it doesn't mention rear light anywhere, can anyone help please or is it a new unit fuses are cheaper so I thought I'd start there .all other lights are fine just that one unit.

Clean upholestry
Had the car seats shampood not long ago and it was all sparking clean until the kids were in the car eating McDonald's..
Result was some grease stains on the seats. I bought the upholstery cleaner spray (the foam kind). Cleaned it properly however when it dried, it left even bigger of a stain.
Nightmare.. what do I do now.. any tips folks?

Handbrake unbalanced
Hi all. My 08 c4gp just failed its mot on the handbrake being unbalanced. The foot break is fine, its just on the handbrake. Could anyone point me in the right direction please? I replaced the rear break pads 2yrs ago, and it passed not last year no problems.

To Get rid of RD4 or not? C4 Picasso 2010 5 Seater VTR+
Sorry read so many articles - don't want to spend a couple of hundred quid without being sure.
I need help in making this decision as from some posts it appears that it may mess with the Menu controls on my steering wheel.
1 - If I change RD4 head unit and get Connect 2 adapter will this mean I cannot use the steering wheel controls for changing display (kMH/MPH) and Time. Also will I lose the Channel display on the Dashboard.
2 - Will I have to use lexia to tell the car I no longer have the RD4.
All this si to fit DAB and Bluetooth without having to use the 12 Cigar lighter for plugging in accessories.
I would love reversing camera but am a bit nervous in fitting this stuff.
Why Don't Manufacturers allow for extra fuses for additional power for accessories.

Performing a vacuum oil change
For the past 15 years I’ve ignored manufacturers recommend oil changes and always added my own interim oil change, using a vacuum pump. On my last (old style GP 2.0 HDI it was very successful and collected almost all the oil in the engine. Replacement oil is always provided by my local dealership - I dont intend to skimp ! Has anyone tried it on the 1.6 Blue hdi - as not all engines allow vacuum removal ?
