Whenever I turn the steering wheel on my GP I can hear a clicking sound. It only happens on part lock (about 180 degrees of steering wheel turn). I've just had the front springs and the strut top bearings replaced and the clo=icking sound is still there. My mechanic reckons that it could be the offside CV joint. It has failed past MoTs on the offside CV joint. When it was in the garage for the springs I had a look at both CV joints and whoever worked on it last use Jubilee clips on the outer CV boots. There's no signs of the clips fouling because they've rusted.
