I've had my C4GP (66 plate) for a couple of weeks now and last night I drove it in the dark the the first time and I found both the top display screen and the touchscreen far too bright. On unlit country lanes the glare from the screens really did make it difficult to see clearly outside the vehicle, especially when trying to look left at junctions. I've since adjusted the brightness of the touchscreen (via the touchscreen settings) and that has helped a little but I can't find any way to adjust the brightness of the top screen. Does anyone know how to do this? I've also tried turning off the touchscreen but as soon as I press any button on the steering wheel, even if it's just to adjust the radio/media volume, the touchscreen comes back on again. My steering wheel only has two control zones and so doesn't have a button to turn off the touchscreen. This means the only way to turn off the touchscreen each time it comes back on is to press "Turn off screen" on the touchscreen! Not ideal when you're trying to keep your eyes on the road! Am I the only one struggling with this or do other people have the same problem? I'm seriously considering making myself some sort of panel with mesh or tinted plastic that I can put in front of the top screen to reduce the glare when I'm driving at night!
