C4 GP 1.6 Flair Rear Suspention

I have only just noticed that my 66 plate GP Flair ( Oct 2016 ) has not got rear air bags and has conventional rear springs. Have they done away with the old system now then? I didn't even think about asking this in the Showroom. I wonder if the ride is better with a heavy load in the back as I now am going to carry D/J equipment in the back.
