Help for a non technical person (multiple Issues)

Hi Guys, I'm looking for some advice to see if anyone has had similar issues previous and how best to get them sorted out. I've read through the forums and I can't see anything that is similar to what I'm experiencing.

My Car:
2005 Citroen C4 1.6HDI 110bhp - 79500 Miles, Last serviced - Apr 2016

Issue One:
Braking - I'm getting good contact on the breaks 80% of the time, there are occasions where I can apply the breaks, the pedal hits the floor and I've virtually no contact, upon re-engaging the break pedal, I get full engagement again. I've had the father-in-law look at it (he renovates classic cars) and he felt that it was the master cylinder. We've had a garage replace the master cylinder. For a short period, it solved the problem which has come back and is now happening more frequently.

The pads and discs have all been replaced previously and are not far of due being replaced again, however, even with new discs and pads previously, the braking issue has still occurred. The callipers have been checked and have not triggered any issues. There's plenty of brake fluid in as well.

I've been managing with it for a while now, however, I've now got an 8-day old daughter and whilst we've got my wife's car to use, I think it's about time that I looked into get it sorted.

Issue Two:
Engine Management/Power Issue - The engine management light is on 99% of the time, after a longish drive (over 50 miles) it might go off, however with any acceleration over 3000rpm, it will trigger the light to come back on again, on the dash display, it will come up with de-pollution sensor faulty. I've seen no issue with this happening however I'm starting to think it might be linking to something else.

While driving when I come to a stop at lights etc, there is no sign that something has happened until I look to set off again. The power output is greatly reduced and the engine will not rev above 3000rpm in neutral or in any gear. When this happens motorway driving is impossible, there just isn't enough power for me to be able to get up to speed (can't get up to 50mph without running out of road) To solve this problem, turning the engine off, waiting a few minutes and back on again gettings everything power wise working correctly.

Issue Three:
Rear windscreen washer (weird issue) - This one is a weird one, I turn the rear windscreen wiper on, works fine, I use the rear windscreen washer, it activates the front washers but doesn't activate the wipes in effect blinding me...

I've absolutely no idea why it's happening :-S

I'm sorry for the length of the message, I'm hoping someone as had similar experiences to me, the car overall has been solid, I've owned it since May 2006 and these are the only issues I've experienced whilst owning it that haven't been just general wear and tear.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, If you've any additional questions, I'll do my best to answer them as clearly and accurately as possible.

Thanks
Gary
