Hi, my 2005 c4 needs replacement clutch - i've pulled the clutch out and found the flywheel to be in good condition on sight (its level, no heat marks, etc) but it is pitted to touch.
Replacing the flywheel is a big cost in Australia (clutch kit is much cheaper) and the condition/age of the car means wrecking may be financially better decision.
Machining isn't an option - i understand the dust gets in the dual mass system
Does anyone have any experience? how silly am i to consider just a new clutch kit and leaving the flywheel?
