Anyone here can clarify what the connecting port on the turbo air intake hose is for? My understanding is it is a heater? Hence, never paid any attention to it, as I have removed the entire hose to inspect the turbo, and have started the engine without the hose and connector removed without any problem. Now now, it seems to me like it is linked to the various sensor for the turbo.
But lately. I have been having P2262 code, and this connector have toasted a fuse for the dump valve and wastegate electrovalve.. and just today, after reconnecting, got a list of code. P0444 P0245 P0034 (These are short to earth) when the hose is connected to the 2 pin plug, and when removed. P0033, P0243, P0443 (These suggest open circuit).
Also. Any idea what's inside? as looking in, it looks like it's just a piece of copper tube? and any way to overwrite or disable this connection?
