Evening all!
A few months back I had a problem with the locks which all pointed to being corrupt BSI software following messing with the battery. Today I've replaced the BSI, ECU and transponder ring, I've transplanted my old cut key into a new casing with the chip that came with the kit above and now have a very new looking key which works perfectly!
This of course leaves me with a cut key which doesn't do much but unlock the car manually. So a few questions and queries for you excellent and knowledgeable people, if you don't mind helping a chap out!
- Can the old spare be reprogrammed through Diagbox/Lexia or are these chips one-time programming only?
- either way, the kit I picked up naturally didn't include the confidential card. I assume Citroen can supply the code, but what will they require to do this? I assume they'll need the VIN and/or registration from the donor vehicle?
