I'm angry that my 1.6HDi C4 Grand Picasso registered in January 2015, appears to only meet the Euro 5 emissions standards and not Euro 6 as will be required to avoid the charge.....
However, I'm surprised that Citroen would have been selling vehicles so close to the September 2015 requirement date that did not meet the standard. I hadn't really considered how stringent the changes would be when we bought our car but after just 4 years I didn't think it was going to be obsolete so soon.
I live in the South East so I'm not in London all the time, so it will impact me a lot less than some but I'd imagine for many owners living within the area of the north and south circular road's that this is a big worry for them.
Further more if this is rolled out to other Cities and particular on the Continent it really is something to watch out for. We also have an old Nissan Micra and that is actually exempt but I'm thinking now of dumping my C4 Picasso in favour of a petrol whilst sale values haven't been completely destroyed.
