2015 Citroen C4 flair bluehdi 1.6
Yesterday I was informed that my offside LED daytime running light is out. I've checked the handbook on how to replace the LED strip but it advises to contact a Citroen dealer or qualified workshop. I did just that but of the 5 garages I contacted, only 1 has actually responded saying that the only fix is to replace the whole headlight unit and they advised the unit alone would be £480 cost price to them plus vat.
I've checked again and on starting the engine, the LED strip does illunimate and flash a couple of times but then it doesn't stay illuminated. This strip also acts as the indictators and they are working fine both sides.
Could this possibly be down to a loose connection somewhere?
Any advice or previous experience would be greatly received.
Cheers
JB
