Dash freezing and other electrical gremlins

Hi all,

We picked up a new to us 2012 C4GP vtr+ last week, great car but now the wife is finding little issues with the electrics. We got it from a garage so have a warranty but wanted to ask you guys on here about the issues.....

So, today the dash froze after my wife had made a phone call and once she stopped the car the radio wouldn't go off from the dash but there was no sound. Alongside this she found that the passenger window wouldn't go up (or down) with the drivers side controls.

I'm hoping after she's left i for a bit it will all be okay BUT does anyone know if this is a common problem or has even come across it before?

I would put the pics on but I can't get it to work.
