I've just been told that the turbo has seized on my Grand Picasso c4. year 2008 and 74k mileage. Before this happened It had been coming up as an error of depollution system faulty intermittently for a while. I took it to a car garage and they told me it was the turbo outlet hospepipe which they changed.
It rectified it for while but the problem came back again. I then took it to another garage and they told me could be fuel filter blocked. It went in to full limp mode. So I took it in to the garage for service and fuel filter change. they did a diagnostic and it came up as turbo seized.
Does anyone know what the cause of this is? Could anything prevent the turbo from seizing? The garage is asking for £850 without warranty.
