Need to buy a big box on wheels for my son who is a percussionist - van won't do because he sometimes needs to carry people as well. C4 Grand Picasso is a likely prospect, maybe £4-£5k should get us a decent one. He will be living near London with frequent trips into the ULEZ that will exist in 3 years or so, and as a Euro 6 Diesel is too new to be affordable we are looking at Petrol as a better long term prospect.
I'm a long term Citroen owner - from 2CV onwards. I've no real knowledge of Citroen Petrol engines after the flat twins, except the new 3 pot 1.2s which are excellent but too new to afford.
I see 1.6 and 1.8 petrol versions of the GP of that era - 2009 to 2012. Not worried about performance, so are there any reliability issues with either engine and which would anyone recommend?
