Hi there. Over recent weeks, my 2013 C4 Grand Picasso Diesel, which was previously running smoothly, has started flashing multiple error messages. Its starts a couple of mins after setting off, saying the parking brake is faulty, then goes on to say ABS system is faulty, ESP is faulty, and gear box is faulty. When the latter comes on, the auto gear change disengages, and you can't manually change beyond 3rd gear. I also noticed yesterday that the cruise control wouldn't engage.
I had the battery checked on the way home by Kwikfit and they said it was at 74% so "seems ok". As far I'm aware, its the same battery in the car since new, so circa 5yrs old now. Another ongoing issue is that the eco-drive has barely ever worked since we bought the car 2yrs ago (only after battery was fully charged at the garage or after very long drives).
I'm inclined to replace the battery and take things from there. Does this sound logical in the circumstances? Or is there anything else that could be causing so many error messages all at the same time?
