Hi, first post, first Citroen. Bought roughly 6mths ago private as a family run around with 1 owner, fsh, 47k. 2008 1.6 petrol vtr+ manual. Handbrake came up as a fault couple of weeks back so turned it off and parked in gear, no other lights. Now I've got : Air bag / pretensioner, Stop service light, Depollution filter, ESP / ABS System and ABS braking system faulty messages and lights. The car drives like it's running out of fuel, jerking about, hesitant and low on power, the steering is heavy at slow speeds clutch feels heavy when slow or still. I'm hoping a sensor has gone awol on the handbrake and is just throwing messed up signals about. Never had anything like this happen before so thinking big £££'s. Anyone had this happen to them ? My Mechanics taking a look at it in the next couple of days just bracing myself.
