Hi, and sorry if this has been resolved somewhere tried all day find anything to no luck.
Driver side headlight bulb had gone, so got a replacement, straight forward I thought and replaced it. All fitted back and correct. However to my surprise when I turn the key before starting engine the sidelights come on which didn't use to happen firstly. Then with the indicator stalk set for all lights off I start the engine and my headlights come on and stay on as if it's set to the second setting. Turning it to sidelights switches the headlights off and sidelights on and then switching to second position switched the headlights back on as it should be, but no matter what happens, having the lights set to position 0 for all off results in the headlights on. Prior to the bulb going and changed this was never an issue.
07 plate, c4 109hp hdi sx, no it doesn't have any settings for daylight lights or auto lights either.
Any ideas sort this?
