Fuel filter replacement question?

Hi All,
Decided to give a fuel and air filter change at home and was successful some what.

Started on the air filter which although tricky to get to I managed to successfully change this using the guides provided on the site (thank you).

Similarly used the guide for fuel filter but simply struggled with it and here is on what. The clip where the green and white wires lead from at the top of the filter I could not remove from the filter ( I would attach a picture but I'm struggling to find where the "File to attach" is, sorry.


All other remaining plugs leading from the filter seem to remove OK (the clips with white press type button). I feel a bit stupid tbh as most likely its straightforward. Does anybody know how?

In addition the whole fuel filter seemed dead stuck. Like the retaining clip on the fuel filter itself seemed like it would not budge. Any ideas on how? Does it need some slight force? I was wondering if anybody had any tips that can aid me please?
