Blanking plate egr

Hi guys,

I know it's been covered here before but I've looked and couldn't get a definitive answer.

I'm thinking about blanking the egr valve as it's been causing a few issues, it's all cleaned up now. I have had the risk of particulate filter fault and diagbox directed me to the egr.

If I do blank it am I likely to get the engine management light, or can I even do it with a dpf?

Also is there a way to remove egr with diagbox?
