Hi, I have a 2008 C4GP 1.6 hdi vtr+ which has the latest problem of the clutch going, in an attempt to save money (seeing as we seem to be throwing a minimum of £600 at it every year to repair something major) my Dad has said he will change the clutch for us. He is an experienced mechanic (now retired) but has never attempted anything like this on a C4GP before. I am wondering if anyone has managed to change the clutch on one of these, if so how did they go about it and did they hit any problems etc. I have searched the forums and found the guide for changing the clutch on the c4, will this be pretty similar as it has the same 1.6hdi engine?? Does the front of the car need removing to get to the clutch? How long is it likely to take to DIY? Is the car likely to need any reprogramming afterwards etc. Thanks in advance for any answers! ![]()
